Everlasting Summer is an Anime VN (Visual Novel). There are very few actual interactive scenes, which makes this more of a sit back and read
experience, especially if you tweak the settings to your reading pace.
What little interaction you do partake in however, helps to direct the story to one of it's possible 13 endings. Choosing to play this as I'm
winding down, instead of watching a film, I have spent around 4 hours so far with Everlasting Summer.
The story revolves around a grown man, somehow transported to another time (or reality, or multiverse, or is it a dream - I'm still not sure, and
is why I'm hooked), namely his youth. Trapped in this time, as a Pioneer, surrounded by other Pioneers. The other Pioneers, aren’t very helpful in
giving clues, as to why this grown man is trapped as a now teenager.

Mostly, the story is fixated on the females, throw in the H-Patch, and you could say this was a VN game for adults. In fact, the developers preferred that you install
this patch, to view the VN as intended.
The graphics are well drawn, with a very high use of repeated backdrop illustrations. The audio suits the VN well, both atmospheric and sound
effects that help to make the VN seem more realistic than it is.
Strangely, I will keep going back to this title to see at least three endings, instead of putting a film on.
